Why a gallery for SOLD
bikes? Answer! It's a very useful
record of the mileage, price and year of specific
models, as well as a reference for colour and design. Also as an indicator of general buying
condition.

BMW :
BMW
stands for "Bayerische Motoren Werke".
Translated into English that's "Bavarian Motor Company". Not
surprisingly, it began as an aircraft factory for the military.
Quality and craftsmanship are the hallmarks of the brand, not to
mention the parallel-twin boxer engine. Today's K-Series
reflects the emphasis BMW places on technological
innovation.

Aprilia :
Aprilia Motorcycles
had their humble origins in a bicycle factory. Initially they
produced scooters, mopeds and lower CC commuters. Nowadays, the
company has diversified into a superbike orientated brand, winning
several world championships for the 125cc - 250cc as well as the
500cc categories.

Ducati :
Ducati began as a
family run company. Originally, it was not a motorcycle
manufacturer though migrated to producing clip-on engines for
bicycles - from there, the rest is history. What sets them apart is
the typical European styling influences, bizarre CC classifications
like the 916, 999 and 749 as well as novel
mechanical features like the dry gear box.

Benelli :
Another family company with Italian origins is
Benelli. Their evolution as a company is similar to many -
started small, initially successful, conflict with Japanese 4
cylinder models and several corporate takeovers. Today the company
is based in China and produces the successful Tornado Tre
900 and TNT 1130.

MV Agusta :
Mv Agusta motorcycles are heavily
influenced by the technology of the aircraft industry and were
refined by racing. As with others, competition from Japan stopped
production. MV Agusta was later revived by the Castiglioni
group. The F4 AGO 1000 and Brutale 750S
are now synonymous with advanced engineering and
prestige.
